Job: Engineer Elec. Simulations & Models (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

As part of the Electrical Grid Integration department, the job position consists of testing and adjusting the simulation models to make sure NX products are grid compliant.The main tasks to be performed are:

• Analysis and evaluation of the simulation models for internal quality checks.
• Definition of testing protocol for the simulation models to ensure grid compliance.
• Support simulation models adjustment according to the project-specific requirements.
• Support clients during the sales phase with direct guidance on how to operate the simulation models.
• Support clients during the connection studies of a new project.
• Direct contact with the TSOs to clarify simulation models performance and/or to clarify TSO requirements and expectations.
• Having a clear picture and deep understanding of the capabilities of the Nordex products to be able to rate Grid Code compliance.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a comparable field
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Spanish and/or German is an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role.
• Availability to travel
